The Veritas Regnat crowd-funding campaign on GiveSendGo and PayPal is headed for its third day with more than 140 donors giving more than $13,000 to jump start our operations.

The donations on GiveSendGo came with words of encouragement, caution and hope. Some of the donor comments included:

• “I believe in Steve and Joe. Let the Lion of Truth Hunt!”
• “Great work, been following you, praying for your health and safety as you pursue and publish the truth!”
• “Thank you for your great efforts ! Keep up the good work—we need you! God Bless.”

Veteran journalists Steve Baker and Joseph M. Hanneman founded Veritas Regnat (Latin for “truth reigns”) earlier this month to have a censorship-free platform to publish investigative stories on Jan. 6, the J6 pipe bombs, and other controversial topics. Both men were previously investigative reporters for Blaze Media.

Funds raised will support what is now a four-person team of investigators, writers, and a technical analyst. Our hope is to add another investigator in the near future. Donations will help fund travel expenses, salaries, insurance, equipment, general project supplies and much more.
